Today we discussed slang through time and how it has changed. We looked at the type of slang Holden uses in The Catcher in the Rye and compared it to the slang we use today.

Homework
Develop your own slang dictionary for your generation based on today’s group work and your own input. You must have 20 slang words or phrases and what they mean. You may use examples that were discussed in class.
