In Class
Today we read chapter 23 out loud, taking turns. When finished, the students worked to answer the questions pertaining to chapter 23. We reviewed the answers as a class.

Homework
Read and annotate chapter 24. Write 3 paragraphs on the pressures of conforming: does Phoebe want Holden to conform to what society wants him to be? How do we know this? What is your opinion on conforming? Should someone change who they are to please everyone around them, or should they do what makes them happy?
