Today we read an excerpt from the poem "Marriage", written by the Beat generation poet Gregory Corso. Students answered 8 questions pertaining to the poem.
Homework
Read and annotate chapter 20. Write a found poem using ONLY sentences/words/phrases from chapters 17-20, about Holden's views on marriage. 15 line minimum. Also, write a paragraph comparing Holden's views to those of Gregory Corso. Are they similar/different and how?
