In Class
Today we discussed the symbolism of Allie's baseball mitt and the symbolism of his death. Each student had to write about an object that means a lot to them and why.
Homework
Read and annotate chapter 6. Fill in the Characterization handout that was distributed in class; only fill in D.B. and Allie being that we have not yet discussed the other characters on the sheet. Study for the vocabulary quiz! If you failed the previous quiz you are required to attend either Lunch & Learn tomorrow or SOS. If you do attend it will be -10 on the quiz. Check mygradebook if you do not remember what you scored on the previous quiz.
ooopppss I meant to write that if you do NOT attend Lunch & Learn or SOS then it will be -10 on the quiz. Sorry about that!
