In Class
Today we began a mini unit on poetry, starting with William Carlos Williams and Imagist poetry. We read "The Red Wheelbarrow" and "This Is Just To Say" with discussion on both pieces.
Homework
Create your own Imagist poem, modelling it after what we read in class. Remember, Williams wrote poetry based on what he observed around him. Length should be 3 stanzas, 4 lines in each.
